Nantes is working on acquiring Eliot Matazo from Monaco, hoping to secure him exclusively on a loan basis.

Eliot Matazo, a 22-year-old midfielder currently playing for AS Monaco, is reportedly on the verge of leaving the club despite an increase in playing time due to Denis Zakaria's thigh injury. FC Nantes, currently 14th in the Ligue 1 standings, has shown interest in Matazo and has initiated steps to recruit him. Although Nantes is interested in a permanent transfer, the club lacks substantial financial resources.
