Eldor Shomurodov Transfer from Roma to Empoli

Roma is ready to sell Eldor Shomurodov to make space for Giacomo Raspadori. The Uzbek national is requested by Empoli. Shomurodov is a former player of Genoa and Cagliari.

Shomurodov does not convince Ranieri and has been less preferred even when Dovbyk was unavailable. Empoli is one of the three Serie A teams interested in him. The departure of Shomurodov may lead to the acquisition of a new forward by Roma.

Empoli and Cagliari are competing for the signing of Eldor Shomurodov. Despite being under Claudio Ranieri, Shomurodov is only playing short parts of matches. Empoli's sporting director, Roberto Gemmi, commented on the market activities but gave no confirmation on Shomurodov, stating 'I don't know, it could be someone else.'

Eldor Shomurodov is considered by Empoli as an option to strengthen their attack. After Cagliari, the Tuscan club has also inquired about the Uzbek forward. Shomurodov may leave the capital if a new striker arrives at Trigoria in January. According to 'Sky', he is one of the top choices for the club led by President Corsi to replace the injured Pietro Pellegri.
