Brighton is required to pay £22 million to acquire left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague. Although Brighton has proposed £15 million plus additional incentives, Slavia Prague is demanding a higher amount. Diouf, who is 20 years old, is also associated with Fenerbahce, but he is seeking a move to the Premier League. The full-back transferred to Slavia Prague from Norwegian club Tromso a year ago and has netted six goals in 18 appearances this season, along with providing three assists. He has participated in the Europa League this season, playing in all eight of Slavia's league phase games, and has been capped four times for the Senegal national team.
