Eddie Nketiah Transfer from Arsenal to AFC Bournemouth
Nketiah was unable to reach an agreement with Bournemouth on personal terms.
Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah was previously linked with Bournemouth but the move fell through.
Bournemouth has been linked with Nketiah since the start of 2024, but it remains to be seen if they will make a concerted effort to sign him this week.
Bournemouth were believed to be keen on Eddie Nketiah to replace Dominic Solanke but ended up signing Evanilson from Porto instead. Eddie Nketiah has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal and is behind Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. He was an unused substitute in Arsenal's opening day 2-0 win over Wolves. His future has been uncertain all summer.
Bournemouth were briefly linked with Nketiah but ultimately decided to sign Brazilian striker Evanilson from Porto for a club-record €37m to replace Dominic Solanke.
