Edon Zhegrova Transfer from LOSC Lille to Napoli

Napoli considers Zhegrova a concrete target. His agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, has been in contact with Napoli's Giovanni Manna. Zhegrova is enthusiastic about joining Napoli, viewing it as a significant career advancement. Lille, however, is reluctant to sell mid-season and prefers to negotiate for a summer transfer, while Napoli seeks an immediate deal.

Napoli have agreed personal terms with Edon Zhegrova, who was already determined to leave Lille in the summer. However, Lille are reluctant to sell the winger, making it difficult for Napoli to complete the transfer.

Edon Zhegrova, who has played in Switzerland and Belgium before moving to Ligue 1, is valued at around 20 million euros. Due to financial constraints related to television rights issues, Lille, like many French clubs, needs to sell players. He was previously pursued by Atalanta last summer and was also targeted by Roma and Milan. Napoli is now interested in acquiring him, considering his versatility in playing multiple roles.

Napoli is closely following Edon Zhegrova, especially if Khvicha Kvaratskhelia departs in January. Serxhio Mezi, the intermediary for Italy, mentioned that Napoli had initial contacts with Zhegrova as early as the end of November. The main concern for Napoli is the high transfer fee, which is not less than 40 million, though the exact figure is undisclosed. The transfer market is dynamic, and more clarity on Zhegrova's future is expected in the coming days.

Napoli is also considering Edon Zhegrova from Lille as an option to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Zhegrova has shown significant growth with 8 goals and 2 assists this season. However, his transfer could be complex due to high costs and Napoli's priority to strengthen the midfield. The month of January will be crucial in determining the future of Kvaratskhelia and, consequently, Napoli's movements in the transfer market.
