Dženan Pejčinović Transfer from VfL Wolfsburg to Fortuna Düsseldorf
Düsseldorf was eager to sign Wolfsburg striker Dzenan Pejcinovic. Manchester City also showed interest with a 5 million Euro offer. Wolfsburg extended his contract until 2029 and loaned him to Fortuna Düsseldorf for a year without a purchase option. Pejcinovic is currently in rehabilitation for a midfoot fracture and is expected to join Fortuna's training once he is cleared.
Dzenan Pejcinovic will play for Fortuna Düsseldorf in the upcoming season. The 19-year-old forward is moving on a one-year loan basis from VfL Wolfsburg to the second division club. Pejcinovic has made five Bundesliga appearances for VfL and is currently in the final rehab phase after suffering a metatarsal fracture in May. He is expected to arrive in Düsseldorf, where he will wear the number 7 jersey, at the end of July. Düsseldorf does not have a purchase option.
