Viktoria Köln has reacted to the departure of home-grown Ben Voll to FC St. Pauli and brought in Dudu as a new goalkeeper. The 25-year-old German-Brazilian comes from SV Werder Bremen, where he had secured a place in the Bundesliga squad nine times in the past season and played 15 times for SVW's U 23. 'Dudu has trained at the highest level at Werder Bremen for the past five years and has proven that he himself is at this level. He now needs to play and take the next step. He fits in with us as a person and with his interpretation of the goalkeeper game,' says Stephan Küsters, Viktoria Köln's sporting director, on the Viktoria website.

Eduardo dos Santos Haesler, previously the third goalkeeper at Werder Bremen, is expected to leave the club, with third division club Viktoria Köln being a potential destination.
