Galatasaray has announced that Dries Mertens has signed a new 1-year contract extension for the 2024-2025 season.

Okan Buruk wants to see Dries Mertens in his squad next year as well. Contract negotiations are about to start. The management reportedly invited the Belgian star's manager to Istanbul next week. It is planned to offer a new 1-year contract to Mertens, who will turn 37 this month, and then to propose him to join the technical team.
