Bahia has put forward a proposal of 4 million euros to Nantes for the acquisition of Douglas Augusto. The Brazilian midfielder might make a return to his home country if the deal goes through. Bahia has extended a contract offer to him, which would be valid for four seasons, extending until December 2028. PAOK, his former club, stands to gain from the transfer as they are set to receive 800,000 euros due to a 20% resale clause. Douglas Augusto has participated in 13 Ligue 1 matches this season, during which he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists. The 27-year-old midfielder was moved from PAOK to Nantes in the summer of 2023, with PAOK initially receiving between 5.5 to 6 million euros from the transfer.
