Dominik Kother completed his transfer from Jahn Regensburg to Dynamo Dresden after prolonged negotiations. Contact between Kother and Dynamo Dresden has existed since mid-December. Kother was not performing well at Regensburg, which prompted the transfer. He was impressed by a fan choreography during a previous visit to Dresden and was motivated by the club's playstyle and offer. The transfer was finalized just in time for Kother to join the winter training camp in Turkey.
