Diogo Almeida leaves Mafra after three seasons and signs a contract valid with Académico de Viseu until 2027.

Diogo Almeida, a 23-year-old striker who will turn 24 on September 8, is one of the targets of Académico de Viseu for the next season. The negotiations might reach a successful conclusion soon. Almeida was one of the highlights of Mafra in the last two seasons, scoring 13 goals in 55 games. However, he ended his contract with Mafra and his future is going to be elsewhere. There is interest in his acquisition both in Portugal and abroad.
