Rio Ave has completed the acquisition of Dijar Ferati, a promising 16-year-old footballer with Swedish and Albanian nationality, overcoming competition from several European clubs, particularly from Serie A and the Bundesliga. Despite interest from these Italian and German clubs, Ferati is poised to join Rio Ave, aligning with the strategic plans of the Marinakis Group. Previously, the young midfielder played for Utsiktens in Sweden's second-tier league, where he made seven appearances for their senior team. Ferati is set to immediately integrate into Rio Ave's under-23 squad, which collaborates closely with the first team under the management of Petit.
