Devyne Rensch Transfer from Ajax to Everton
Everton, another club of the Friedkin family, was involved in the competition for Devyne Rensch, but Roma managed to anticipate them in this transfer window.
Everton, recently acquired by the Friedkin family, has made a strong entry into the race for Devyne Rensch with a comprehensive offer reaching 8 million euros, surpassing Roma in the race for the player.
Everton has been given the green light to sign Ajax defender Devyne Rensch, who is out of contract in the summer. The Dutch club is likely to sell him this month, which may pave the way for Nathan Patterson's exit from Everton.
Everton has expressed significant interest in acquiring Devyne Rensch from Ajax, with plans to sign him next summer when he becomes available for free. Alongside Everton, several clubs, including Napoli and Olympique Marseille, are also interested in the 21-year-old right-back. Meanwhile, AS Roma is attempting to secure Rensch this winter to avoid competing with other clubs, having already made an approach to Ajax with an offer. Roma suggested a swap deal involving Zeki Çelik, which Ajax turned down, and subsequently offered five million euros, a proposal that Ajax also rejected. Reports indicate that Ajax is seeking almost double that amount, although with Rensch unlikely to extend his contract, they may risk losing out on a transfer fee if they wait until summer.
