Derrick Köhn rejected a 9-million-euro offer from Russian Premier League club Spartak Moscow. Köhn had a strong first half-year with Galatasaray, starting in 13 of 14 league matches and winning the championship, but later found himself on the transfer list.

The Galatasaray management wants to sell Derrick Köhn to one of the Bundesliga clubs that have been interested in him for a while. This way, both Hannover's receivables will be paid and a budget and resources will be created for new transfers.
