Denis Prychynenko, a 32-year-old defender who has been playing for Deinze since 2021 and was previously a fan favorite at Beerschot VA, has joined Lokeren-Temse. The transfer occurred on a free basis due to Deinze's financial difficulties and eventual bankruptcy. There had been a brief hope for salvation through a takeover by the Luxembourg-based 'AAD Invest', but the club's financial situation only deteriorated further, resulting in its official removal from the Challenger Pro League. Prychynenko, who brings with him over 150 matches of experience in Belgian professional football, has signed an agreement at Daknam until June 2026, with an option for extension. Lokeren-Temse, currently 12th in the Challenger Pro League, is anticipated to benefit from his extensive experience.
