Massara, the sporting director, attempted to approach Denis Bouanga for a transfer to Stade Rennais, but the attempts were unsuccessful.

Stade Rennais is interested in signing Denis Bouanga to strengthen their offensive positions during the winter transfer window. Bouanga is open to leaving California, despite having three years left on his contract until December 2027. He has scored 69 goals in 106 matches since joining LAFC in August 2022. Bouanga is excited about the Rennes project, even though some Italian clubs are also monitoring his situation from afar.

Italian clubs are also interested in Denis Bouanga, who is currently playing for Los Angeles FC in the MLS. Bouanga has expressed his desire to return to France or join a European club. The transfer fee is expected to be around 10 million euros.
