David Kinsombi Transfer from Paderborn to Preußen Münster

Bild has reported on the loan transfer of David Kinsombi to Preußen Münster. David Kinsombi, who is an experienced player with 4 Bundesliga and 220 second division games, has been loaned to Preußen Münster until the end of the season. The transfer was decided relatively quickly after Paderborn informed him during a training camp that he was not part of their future plans. Kinsombi opted for Münster over other opportunities, such as with third-division club Hansa Rostock, because he found the discussions with Preußen's coach Sascha Hildmann and sports director Ole Kittner convincing. Additionally, personal reasons played a role, as commuting would allow him to be closer to his family.

David Kinsombi is poised to join Preußen Münster. Sources indicate that he is not a significant part of Paderborn's current plans and is allowed to leave for a small fee, given that his contract expires in the summer. Kinsombi, an experienced 29-year-old midfielder, has made only ten brief appearances for Paderborn this season, managing to score once against Jahn Regensburg. It is reported that he fits well into Preußen's requirements due to his strengths in offensive positions, particularly the 'Achter' role, where he can drive towards the opponent's goal and effectively set up attacks. His primary role at Preußen will be to inject more offensive momentum into a team that ranks last in the league for shots on goal. Kinsombi is scheduled to commence training with Preußen on Thursday and could potentially make his debut on Saturday against Greuther Fürth, where a victory could help pull the team out of the relegation zone.
