Borussia Dortmund has expressed interest in acquiring Dário Essugo. Currently, Essugo is on loan to Las Palmas, a situation that will continue until the end of the current season. At 19 years old, the midfielder is drawing interest from several football clubs, and there are reports that Chelsea is nearing an agreement with Sporting for his transfer. Nonetheless, Dortmund remains interested in Essugo, alongside West Ham and Real Sociedad. The anticipated transfer is likely to occur at the conclusion of the season, with Sporting expected to receive approximately 25 million euros. Essugo's contract with Sporting, however, remains valid until June 2027 and includes a release clause set at 45 million euros. This season, Essugo has played in 14 matches and has scored one goal for Las Palmas.
