Dara O'Shea has signed for Ipswich from Burnley this summer.
Ipswich has acquired 25-year-old defender Dara O'Shea from Burnley for 14.2 million euros. Transfermarkt values him at 7 million euros, but his 26 appearances for the Irish national team likely justified the higher fee.
Ipswich Town has announced the signing of central defender Dara O'Shea from Burnley. He has signed a contract until 2029. Dara O'Shea, born in 1999, grew up in the West Bromwich Albion Academy and made over 100 appearances for the Baggies before moving to Burnley in June 2023 after their promotion to the Premier League. Dara debuted for the Clarets against Manchester City at the start of last season and scored his first goal for the club against Liverpool at Anfield in February. O'Shea has played for the Republic of Ireland at U17, U18, U19, and U21 levels and has made 26 appearances for the senior national team, being named FAI Young Player of the Year in 2021.
