Danilo Cataldi Transfer from Lazio to Torino

Danilo Cataldi, currently with Lazio, is in conflict with his club and might be put on the market in the last week of the transfer window. Torino has been monitoring the situation and considers him a last-minute option. Tuttosport reports that Cataldi could be a valid alternative if there is another departure from Torino, either of Tameze or Ilic.

According to Sky Sport, Danilo Cataldi's future could be away from Lazio. Torino, led by coach Vanoli, is seeking a central midfielder to add to their squad.

Torino is gathering information about Cataldi's availability. They see him as a replacement for Ilic, who is set to move to Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Danilo Cataldi's tenure at Lazio remains in doubt, despite his clear intention to remain with the team. His representative, Giuseppe Riso, maintains that Cataldi has never been listed for transfer, but Lazio could contemplate selling him if an attractive offer arises. Last season, Cataldi saw limited playing time due to the arrival of new players like Rovella and adjustments in the midfield. The current season seems to be following the same pattern, and the club might opt to part ways with him if a compelling bid is presented. Torino is currently leading the race for Cataldi.

Cataldi was designated to become captain but now feels excluded from the project. There have been initial inquiries from Torino since the beginning of the market.

Catadi, for example, has not fully convinced, but he has no intention of leaving (there is interest from Torino, ed). He will try to play his cards better, perhaps already from the summer retreat.

Danilo Cataldi, a key player in the Lazio locker room, has seen his playing time decrease with the arrival of Igor Tudor. His profile has recently been proposed to Torino, which could offer a two-year proposal with higher figures than his current salary of 1.5 million euros, including bonuses. The decision will be up to the player and the club, which will discuss with the Croatian coach at the end of the season to understand his ideas as well.

Danilo Cataldi might leave Lazio in the summer. His playing time has gradually decreased over the last season. First, with Sarri, Rovella was getting more playing time in his place. Now with Tudor, things are not improving. In fact, with Kamada's return to form, Cataldi has definitely moved down in the pecking order. With the confirmation of the Croatian coach, competition in the midfield has become very thick. For this reason, the club might choose to sacrifice him on the market. The player has recently renewed his contract with Lazio, until 2027. But according to what Il Messaggero writes this morning, Cataldi has been offered to Torino. In the past, the club of Cairo had eyed the Lazio midfielder as a possible reinforcement. According to the newspaper, the granata would even be ready to offer him a contract at higher figures than those currently perceived at Lazio (1.5 million per season), even after the extension signed last April. The talks between the two clubs are therefore open, although at the moment no concrete steps have been taken, nor has anything been hinted about the possible figures. The track remains to be monitored carefully in the summer.
