Danilo Al-Saed Transfer from SC Heerenveen to AIK

Danilo Al-Saed has reportedly agreed to a loan move to AIK, but another Scandinavian club has also shown interest. Heerenveen is willing to wait and see if the conditions offered by the other club are better than those from AIK.

Danilo Al-Saed is set to leave SC Heerenveen on a loan basis. Reports from the Swedish Expressen and the Leeuwarder Courant suggest that the Iraqi international will temporarily move to the Swedish club AIK. Al-Saed had transferred from the Norwegian club Sandjeford to Heerenveen last summer for a fee of 750,000 euros. However, he was unable to secure a starting position under the management of Robin van Persie. Having made six appearances in the Eredivisie and two in the KNVB Cup, he accumulated only 243 minutes of playtime in the Frisians' shirt. His contract with Heerenveen extends until the summer of 2028. AIK has agreed to a loan deal for half a year with Heerenveen, which includes a non-mandatory option to purchase. Consequently, Al-Saed could return to Heerenveen in the summer. Currently, AIK is in third place in the Swedish league.
