Danilho Doekhi Transfer from FC Union Berlin to VfL Wolfsburg
According to Florian Plettenberg, Wolfsburg are offering Danilho Doekhi an opportunity to remain in the Bundesliga this month and beyond. Danilho Doekhi is open to the potential transfer within Germany, and the expected approach from Wolfsburg is very appealing to him. Union Berlin are open to Danilho Doekhi's sale this month and hope competition to sign him will help them get as close as possible to their €13 million (£11.3m, $15.1m) valuation.
On Monday evening, Sky Sports Germany reported that VfL Wolfsburg wants to make a deal with Union Berlin for Danilho Doekhi, which the outlet described as surprising. Danilho Doekhi's contract expires after this season, making him available on a free transfer.
Sky reports that Wolfsburg is interested in Danilho Doekhi, 27. Following a 1-8 defeat in Munich, Wolfsburg is reportedly seeking to act immediately. Doekhi is said to be one of two candidates.
VfL Wolfsburg is considering Danilho Doekhi as a potential replacement for Maxence Lacroix. Doekhi could bring significant financial benefit to Union Berlin if the transfer goes through.
