Valery Karpin, the head coach of Rostov, commented on midfielder Danil Glebov, indicating that Spartak Moscow had shown active interest in him. Reports suggested that during the summer transfer window, the red-whites attempted to acquire Glebov but failed to reach an agreement with Rostov regarding the player's price. Karpin noted that negotiations might resume, although Glebov is bound by a long-term contract with Rostov, valid until the end of June 2028.
