Danijel Dejan Djuric has made a move from the Icelandic club Vikingur Reykjavik to Istra 1961. Known for his versatility on the field, Djuric is an offensive player capable of serving as an attacking midfielder, left winger, or forward. Originally hailing from Varna, Bulgaria, he possesses a Bulgarian passport and has earned three caps with Iceland's national team. Djuric became part of Vikingur in the summer of 2022, transitioning from the Danish club Midtjylland. During his time with Vikingur, he participated in 106 matches, netting 31 goals and assisting in 18. Istra's sports director, Saša Bjelanović, conveyed his satisfaction with the acquisition, noting Djuric's promising potential for growth. The transfer, valued at 200,000 euros, marks the largest incoming transfer ever recorded by Istra.
