Sportbladet has reported that Daniel Sundgren has agreed to a contract with Degerfors, which will commence in the summer. Sundgren's current contract with Volos FC is set to expire in the summer, after which he will return to Degerfors, the club where he first gained recognition. The contract with Degerfors is anticipated to extend for two and a half years, although it may take some time before an official announcement is made. Sundgren, who formerly played for AIK and the national team, was part of Degerfors from 2012 to 2015. He boasts an impressive career, having won the Swedish championship with AIK in 2018 and the Israeli league with Maccabi Haifa. Despite the agreement being reached, the official announcement may be delayed.
