D. Maldini leaving Monza?
Daniel Maldini's contract with Monza includes two release clauses, one for 12 million euros for clubs in Italy and another for 18 million euros for clubs abroad. These clauses will be activated next summer. Adriano Galliani, Monza's CEO, mentioned that there is no need to consider the market now, as the team is focusing on earning points until January. He stated that Maldini will remain at Monza until the end of the year, and the situation will be reassessed next year. Galliani highlighted Maldini's great potential and ongoing growth.
Daniel Maldini could be acquired by any foreign club for a fee of 15 million euros. The market valuation is appealing, and there is no buy-back clause or matching offer clause for Milan, his former club.
Monza is trying to confirm Daniel Maldini after a strong second half of the season, following a less than positive first six months at Empoli. The problem is that a buy-back clause was not included and his good performance could raise the price, with the valuation around 4 million euros.
Daniel Maldini, who is currently playing for Monza and has scored 4 goals since he arrived in January, is being considered for a buy-back by Monza for 4 million euros. It is unclear whether Milan, his previous club, will let him go or put 5 million on the table to maintain control of his contract and aim for a technical revaluation or a more profitable sale.
