Dani Olmo Transfer from FC Barcelona to Atlético Madrid
Atlético de Madrid has reportedly shown interest in Dani Olmo since his tenure at Dinamo de Zagreb. Nevertheless, the club is currently not planning any signings during the winter transfer window, particularly not in the attacking positions where Olmo operates. Olmo's status at Barcelona remains uncertain, as he has not been registered by the club. Should this situation persist, he might become a free agent due to a specific clause in his contract. Despite the expressed interest, Atlético de Madrid has firmly denied any current possibility of signing Olmo. The club had previously contemplated acquiring him during his stint at Dinamo de Zagreb, but the high transfer fee set by the Croatian club obstructed the move. Olmo eventually made a move to RB Leipzig for 34.2 million euros. Presently, Atlético de Madrid is not considering any transfers for the winter period, especially not for forward positions, as they believe these areas are sufficiently covered. For Atlético to reconsider, there would need to be significant changes in Olmo's situation at Barcelona, which seems improbable at this point.
