Damian Rasak is expected to leave Górnik Zabrze and join Újpest, according to Łukasz Olkowicz from 'Przegląd Sportowy Onet'. The interest from Hungary has been present for some time and has recently gained momentum. His contract with Górnik Zabrze expires on June 30. Hungarian club Újpest is showing interest in transferring Damian Rasak during the winter transfer window. Rasak, who currently serves as a key midfielder for Górnik Zabrze, joined the team in early 2023. His contract includes a release clause of 600,000 euros and is set to expire on June 30, 2025, although the club may be open to negotiating the fee. Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl reported that Újpest, the 20-time champions, is eager to finalize the transfer this winter. Rasak has demonstrated impressive performance at Górnik Zabrze, having played in 66 matches, scored eight goals, and provided four assists. His exceptional form continued into the recent autumn round, where he made 18 appearances, netting four goals and adding two assists. Górnik's head coach, Jan Urban, values Rasak's abilities highly, making him a regular starter. While Górnik fans are keen to see the outcome, the possibility of a winter move is still open, with Újpest needing to meet the release clause unless negotiations result in a lower price.
