Rangers are unlikely to stand in the Nigerian international’s way if the right offer is tabled and are in early talks with a number of suitors.

Rangers accepted an offer worth $6m (£5.1m) from Atlanta United. The agreement between the two clubs was close but the player knocked back the move after negotiations. Atlanta recently sold former Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis, and Dessers could have replaced him.
