Arouca has sold Cristo González to Al Sadd. The deal has been finalized and the forward is set to travel to Qatar in the next few hours to expedite all bureaucratic procedures related to the transfer, given that the market in that country closes today. The Qatari club will pay a total of 6 million for Cristo González, with the deal potentially reaching 9 million based on performance objectives. This marks the second biggest sale in Arouca's history. For the Spaniard, who joined the Lobos da Serra da Freita at the beginning of last season, a financially attractive contract valid until 2028 has been arranged. Cristo González departs from the Arouquenses with a record of 18 goals and 10 assists in 44 games. He is set to reunite with Rafa Mujica for another successful partnership.
