Avellino is planning to extend Cosimo Patierno's contract until June 2027. An agreement meeting is scheduled for the coming days to finalize the contract extension. His current contract is valid until June 2026. Patierno joined Avellino in the summer of 2023 from Virtus Francavilla and has made 55 appearances, scoring 33 goals.

The forward, born in 1991, will have his contract extended until 2026, rewarding his excellent season just concluded.
