Connor Barron Transfer from Aberdeen to Rangers
The Glasgow Rangers have secured one of the most interesting young talents in Scottish football. Connor Barron, a central midfielder born in 2002, has joined from Aberdeen, where he grew up and made his professional debut. He played 42 matches last season, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists. He has signed a contract until June 30, 2028.
Rangers have informed Aberdeen they plan to sign Connor Barron.
Rangers hope to back up the capture of Hamza Igamane with the capture of Connor Barron this week.
Connor Barron would be a good signing for Philippe Clement and Rangers, according to former Celtic star Simon Donnelly.
Rangers will have to pay more than the £500,000 plus training compensation to Aberdeen or take a gamble on a tribunal if they want to sign Connor Barron.
