Clinton N'Jie Transfer from Rapid Bucuresti to Kocaelispor
Clinton N'Jie is contemplating a departure from Rapid București due to challenges in Romania and his relegation to a reserve position. Kocaelispor has shown interest in acquiring him. Although N'Jie is contracted with Rapid until 2026, the club has opted not to extend his contract. Victor Angelescu, a minority shareholder at Rapid, indicated that N'Jie is set to leave in the summer as his contract will not be renewed. N'Jie joined Rapid in the summer with the goal of bolstering the team's attack, but he has struggled to find his form, having played only 391 minutes across 23 matches this season. His limited impact has relegated him to a reserve role, which does not suffice for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations winner. Interest has been shown by two clubs, Henan Songshan from China and Kocaelispor from Turkey, both ready to offer N'Jie a new beginning. Angelescu confirmed that N'Jie, along with Xian Emmers, will depart Rapid in the summer as their contracts are not being renewed.
