On Wednesday, Mirassol announced that they had signed striker Clayson, who was previously with Cuiabá. Clayson, known for being a Brazilian champion with Corinthians in 2017, was brought in to strengthen Mirassol as the team prepares for their participation in the top division of the Brazilian Championship in 2025. Clayson, who has had stints with Bahia, Al-Faisaly, and V-Varen Nagasaki, is the eighth player to join Mirassol for the upcoming season. The club has been actively enhancing its squad, having already acquired players such as defenders David Braz and Jemmes, and forwards Guilherme Pato and Matheus Davó, among others, to ensure they have a competitive lineup for their debut in the top flight.
