C. Mandas: Lazio Contract Extension
Christos Mandas is reportedly nearing a contract renewal with Lazio. Negotiations between the club and his representatives have been ongoing, with Corriere dello Sport indicating that the new agreement is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024. Currently, Mandas is among the lowest-paid players in the team, with earnings slightly over 300,000 euros. He transferred to Lazio a year ago from Ofi Creta for a fee of one million euros. The club aims to acknowledge his potential by increasing his salary, and the existing contract, which is valid until 2027, is likely to be extended by an additional two years, with his earnings projected to rise to approximately one million euros, including bonuses.
Mandas has renewed his contract with Lazio for 5 years with a salary adjustment to 1 million euros per season. The official announcement is pending, but the young Greek goalkeeper will remain with Lazio for a long time.
From the hypothesis of the departure of the loan elsewhere, now the Greek class 2001 could even stay and extend the contract until 2029 for a salary of 500-600 thousand euros.
