Christoph Kramer Transfer to VfL Bochum 1848
Christoph Kramer, who has been without a club since August after leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach, is reportedly of interest to VfL Bochum. According to 'Sport Bild', negotiations have allegedly reached a concrete stage. Kramer would join the German league's bottom team on a free transfer following the departure of one of their midfield players.
Christoph Kramer, once a world champion, is currently without a club after terminating his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach. He indicated on the 'Copa TS' podcast that he was willing to play for free, using the phrase 'for Nüsse'. VfL Bochum, currently struggling in the league, might be a potential destination since their coach, Dieter Hecking, has a good relationship with Kramer from their time at Mönchengladbach. VfL's CEO, Ilja Känzig, mentioned on 'Bild TV' that it would be a good fit due to their past relationship.
VfL Bochum is considering the possibility of signing Christoph Kramer, who is currently without a club. Ilja Kaenzig, the managing director of the club currently at the bottom of the Bundesliga, stated on 'Bild TV' that Kramer had previously played under Dieter Hecking, and they had maintained a good relationship, making the potential transfer particularly suitable. Despite this, no discussions have taken place with the 2014 World Cup winner so far. Kaenzig also indicated that the team needs to strengthen in one, two, or possibly three positions, and expressed an openness to taking bold steps, whether this involves Kramer or another player.
