Christian Kouamé leaving Fiorentina?
Christian Kouamé has recently renewed his contract with Fiorentina, indicating a commitment to stay with the club despite the team's search for additional forwards.
Olympiacos approached Fiorentina for the acquisition of Christian Kouamé. However, the Italian club rejected their proposal. Kouamé is an important player for Fiorentina and is expected to renew his contract, which expires next summer. The interest of Olympiacos was reported by Italian media and confirmed by Nicolò Schira on August 29, 2024.
Fiorentina is intent on rejecting all offers received for Kouamé so far. His future seems to be tied to staying in Florence, contrary to what was initially expected at the beginning of the transfer market.
Christian Kouamé was confirmed as a starter by Palladino to definitively close the market issue.
Christian Kouamé is likely to stay at Fiorentina despite several interests over the summer, especially from Spain. Maiorca's offer was not considered satisfactory by Fiorentina, and Kouamé is highly valued by Raffaele Palladino for his tactical versatility. However, a significant offer might still arrive before the transfer window closes on Friday midnight.
Christian Kouame is considering a move to Maiorca. An agreement between the two clubs could be reached for a permanent transfer for a fee around 6-8 million EUR. Kouame must decide whether to leave or accept a contract renewal at a lower salary than the over two million per season that was automatically activated at the end of June.
Fiorentina recently received an offer from Maiorca for Christian Kouamé. The offer was about 6-7 million euros. Although Fiorentina considers the offer too low, the deal could progress in the second half of the summer transfer window.
