Chidozie Awaziem Transfer from Boavista to Cincinnati
Chidozie Awaziem has chosen MLS. Today, the transfer of the defender from Boavista to Cincinnati was made official. Cincinnati has signed Awaziem until 2025, with options for 2026 and 2027. Awaziem will join the club's roster and will become eligible pending the receipt of his P-1 visa.
Chidozie Awaziem, who was on loan at Hajduk Split in the 2022/23 season and won the Cup with them, has been signed by Cincinnati. The Nigerian defender's contract runs until the end of 2025, with an option to extend for an additional two years.

The Americans will pay the Portuguese club a fee of 500,000 euros, which can rise to 700,000 euros with bonuses. Additionally, Boavista retains the right to 20% of any future transfer fee.
