Hertha BSC is once again interested in signing the defensive midfielder Charles Pickel. The club had already shown interest in Pickel during the summer, along with city rival Union Berlin and Fortuna Düsseldorf. Pickel, born in Switzerland and a Congolese international, is under contract with the Italian second division club US Cremonese until 2026. A loan with an option to buy is being considered. The 27-year-old is reportedly keen on making a move to Germany.
