Casemiro Transfer from Manchester United to Al Hilal

Casemiro's transfer to the Saudi Pro League is being negotiated by the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Fund, with Al Hilal as one of the potential clubs.

According to Brazilian news agency UOL, Casemiro has agreed to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window. The former Real Madrid midfielder is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund teams, including Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq, and newly joined Saudi Pro League team Al-Qadsiyah.

The Saudi Public Investment Fund is advancing plans to sign Casemiro, who has lost his status as an undisputed starter at Manchester United under Ruben Amorim. Despite being in the starting lineup against Newcastle, he has only featured in one of the last five matches. UOL reports that Casemiro is open to a move to Saudi football. Al Hilal, under the management of Jorge Jesus, is one of three potential destinations for the 32-year-old midfielder. While his contract extends until June 2026, reaching an agreement with the English club is not anticipated to be a hurdle, as the Portuguese coach is looking to make changes to the squad in January.

Casemiro's agent has been in talks with four Saudi Arabian sides, including Al Hilal, over the possibility of signing him next year. The Saudi Pro League clubs are interested but Casemiro is not a top priority for them.

Manchester United are making fresh efforts to get Casemiro off the wage bill. The player's agent is holding talks with Saudi club Al Hilal regarding a potential move.
