Casemiro Transfer from Manchester United to Al Ettifaq
According to Brazilian news agency UOL, Casemiro has agreed to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window. The former Real Madrid midfielder is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund teams, including Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq, and newly joined Saudi Pro League team Al-Qadsiyah.
Casemiro had an outstanding 21/22 season, securing the Champions League title with Real Madrid before transferring to Manchester United. He is now reportedly considering a move from Europe to Saudi Arabia, with interest coming from the Saudi Arabian Investment Fund, which manages Al-Ettifaq. However, a challenge arises as none of the Saudi clubs currently have an available slot for registering foreign players. Brazilian media reports that Casemiro has agreed to this potential move, viewing it as a way to address his unhappiness with leaving Europe by taking advantage of the financial benefits in Saudi Arabia. His recent performance for Manchester United against Newcastle, which English media criticized as one of his poorest for the club, indicates that his tenure at Old Trafford is likely nearing its end, even if a transfer does not happen in early January.
