Casemiro Transfer from Manchester United to Al Ahli

Casemiro's transfer to the Saudi Pro League is being negotiated by the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Fund, with Al Ahli as one of the potential clubs.

According to Brazilian news agency UOL, Casemiro has agreed to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window. The former Real Madrid midfielder is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund teams, including Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq, and newly joined Saudi Pro League team Al-Qadsiyah.

Casemiro had an excellent 21/22 season, winning the Champions League with Real Madrid before moving to Manchester United. He is now reportedly open to leaving Europe for Saudi Arabia, with the Saudi Arabian Investment Fund, which controls Al-Ahli, showing interest. However, a potential issue is that none of the Saudi clubs have an available slot for registering foreign players.

Casemiro's agent has been in talks with four Saudi Arabian sides, including Al-Ahli, over the possibility of signing him next year. The Saudi Pro League clubs are interested but Casemiro is not a top priority for them.

Manchester United are making fresh efforts to get Casemiro off the wage bill. The player's agent is holding talks with Saudi club Al-Ahli regarding a potential move.
