In the last days of the transfer window, Manchester United inquired about Carney Chukwuemeka. The deal could have included Jadon Sancho, but ultimately, Chukwuemeka stayed at Chelsea.

Manchester United have shown interest in Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka. Chukwuemeka, who has been sidelined by Maresca, has been associated with potential moves to Barcelona and Crystal Palace in recent weeks as Chelsea aim to transfer him. The ex-Aston Villa academy talent has four years remaining on his current contract with the Blues, yet a departure before the end of Deadline Day is still possible.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Carney Chukwuemeka before the end of Transfer Deadline Day. Chukwuemeka has been sidelined by Enzo Maresca and is currently training separately from Chelsea’s first-team squad. According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, a swap deal involving Sancho and Chukwuemeka is not being considered. However, Manchester United might pursue the Chelsea midfielder if they manage to transfer Sancho to west London.
