Carlos Fernández has left Real Sociedad after 3 years and has joined Cadice on loan until the end of the season. Having risen through the youth ranks at Sevilla Football Club and making his first-team debut at just 17 years old, Fernández had loan spells at Deportivo de la Coruña and Granada before being signed by Real Sociedad in 2021. In his 169 professional matches, he has scored 39 goals. He has represented Spain at U16, U19, and U21 levels and has won a Copa del Rey (2021), three Europa Leagues (2014, 2015, and 2016), and a U19 European Championship (2015).
