Galatasaray has reached a full agreement with Carlos Cuesta, a 25-year-old Colombian defender from Genk. Cuesta, who still has one year left on his contract with the Belgian club, has accepted all the terms offered by Galatasaray. He is also known to be a teammate of Davinson Sanchez in the Colombian national team. Galatasaray, while negotiating Cuesta's transfer, is also in talks with Empoli for their Georgian defender Saba Goglichidze.
