Carlos Alcaraz leaving Juventus?

Carlos Alcaraz's contract with Juventus was on loan till 30th June 2024, with Juventus having the option to acquire the player's sports performances permanently for a fee of € 49.5 million, payable in three installments. This fee could be increased upon meeting certain sports objectives. However, Alcaraz might leave Juventus at the end of this season.

Complicated buy-back situation.

Carlos Alcaraz's future remains uncertain. The Argentine midfielder arrived at Juventus in the last transfer window but has not been able to establish himself under Massimiliano Allegri. His journey has also been hampered by a hamstring injury that kept him off the fields for the entire month of March. He has only made nine appearances this season and only two from the start. The player came on loan from Southampton with a buyout option. His buyout is set at 49.5 million euros, and Juventus would like to have him for the next season as well, but not at these figures. If the Biancorossi fail to return to the Premier League through the playoffs, the loan could be renegotiated at a lower price.

Carlos Alcaraz was taken on a costly loan from Southampton for 3.5 million euros, with a monstrous ransom of 49.5 million euros. He was supposed to be the fuel to add to the engine of a short and tired midfield, devoid of Paul Pogba and Nicolò Fagioli for known reasons. Instead, he has only made 7 appearances, none as a starter, for a total of 192 minutes played and a single assist made.
