A Bola reports on the transfer decision of Carlinhos regarding his move to Vitória da Bahia. Carlinhos, who is 27 years old and currently belongs to Flamengo, has refused the offer from the Portuguese club Farense, opting instead to remain in Brazil. He is set to join Vitória da Bahia on loan for the 2024 season. Flamengo had given Carlinhos the green light to negotiate his future, and besides the offer from Farense, he also had a proposal from the Chinese club Henan.

Carlinhos has been authorized by Flamengo to negotiate with other clubs. He will train at alternative times at the George Helal Training Center and will have the club's entire structure at his disposal. Carlinhos joined Flamengo in April of the previous year after standing out at Nova Iguaçu but was heavily criticized by fans, scoring five goals in 20 matches.
