Legia Warszawa considered acquiring Camilo Mena from Lechia Gdańsk due to Lechia's financial struggles and transfer ban. Legia aimed to secure Mena for around 250,000 euros, exploiting Lechia's urgent need for funds. Mena, contracted until 2028, was previously bought by Lechia for 1.6 million euros and had interest from other clubs, including CA Tallares, which offered up to 2.5 million euros.
