Newcastle United have made it clear to Manchester City that offers for Bruno Guimaraes will not be entertained this late in the summer transfer window.

Manchester City may invest in a new midfielder, with Newcastle United's Bruno Guimaraes being a player of interest.

Bruno Guimaraes has all but ended speculation linking him to Manchester City after outlining his commitment to Newcastle in a post on social media.

Manchester City is interested in signing Bruno Guimarães to replace Kevin De Bruyne. Newcastle United demands 100 million euros, but Manchester City values him at 85 million euros and is considering including two young players, Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb, in the deal.

Manchester City is interested in signing Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle. The transfer fee is 120 million euros. Newcastle paid 42 million euros for him. His release clause of 115 million euros was valid only until June 30, so negotiations are required.

Manchester City, under Pep Guardiola, is also interested in Bruno Guimaraes. The player has been impressive both in the Premier League and for Brazil.

Bruno Guimaraes is flattered by the interest of clubs like Barça, Arsenal and Manchester City. 'It's good to see my name linked with big clubs, it means I'm doing my job well. But I'm not worried, I'm happy in Newcastle. We'll see what happens.'

Manchester City are interested in Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, but like Arsenal, are unlikely to pay the €117.5 million (£100m) release clause attached to his contract. Bruno Guimaraes can exit his contract with the St James’ Park side so long as a club triggers the release fee by making an offer between the end of May and the last week of June, but it appears increasingly improbable that such a deal will be made. After that, any negotiations in July or August will require direct talks with Newcastle, who will then have full control over the situation. According to sources close to the deal, the fee would need to be significantly lowered for Man City to complete a transfer the would equal their club record. Newcastle have taken a strong stance to indicate that this will not happen. Furthermore, it would require Bruno Guimaraes to accept a backup role to Rodri in the Man City midfield – another major barrier to a potential deal.

Bruno has also been linked with a summer transfer to Manchester City, who see him as a potential successor to Kevin de Bruyne.

Bruno Guimarães has been performing well in his second season at Newcastle, attracting interest from Manchester City. He has a release clause of 100 million pounds (116 million euros). If Bruno Guimarães is to leave northern England, it will have to be before summer. Newcastle's coach, Eddie Howe, has stated that the situation has been well planned and structured by the club, and he does not want constant speculation as he does not believe it is healthy for the player or for the club. Despite Newcastle's desire to keep one of their best players of the season, they also have to comply with profitability and sustainability rules (PSR).

Manchester City has been leading the race for Bruno Guimarães for months now. Newcastle United has set a release clause of 120M and has not intended to reduce it. The clause expires at the end of June, and the player can be taken without a prior agreement with Newcastle United. Bruno Guimarães' contract does not end until 2028.

Bruno Guimaraes could depart this summer if a release clause in his contract is triggered. This is only in place until 30 June. The cost for Bruno could be around the €117 million (£100m) mark. Newcastle wants to keep him and build their team around him, but they are not in control of the situation.

Manchester City is one of a number of clubs interested in signing Guimaraes this summer. Guimaraes has a £100million release clause in his contract which expires at the end of June. Newcastle paid £35m to sign Guimaraes from Lyon in January 2022 so any offer near the 26-year-old’s release clause will represent a significant profit on the balance sheet. It is understood the Brazil international has a burning desire to play in the Champions League.

Bruno Guimaraes has been attracting interest from several clubs, including Man City. Newcastle may have to sell due to their Financial Fair Play situation. Guimaraes has a release clause in excess of €100 million, but Newcastle won't insist on this fee when Champions League clubs come knocking due to a gentlemen's agreement with the player. Guimaraes would not turn down a move to Man City.

Manchester City is also interested in Bruno Guimarães and is battling to secure his services. They believe he is the missing piece of their team puzzle.
