Brice Maubleu has joined Saint-Étienne for two years to become the backup for Gautier Larsonneur. Maubleu, a historical goalkeeper for Grenoble since 2014, signed with the neighboring club Saint-Étienne on Wednesday. At 34 years old, Maubleu, who had requested to leave, will become the backup for Gautier Larsonneur, who is established as the first-choice goalkeeper at ASSE. Maubleu has signed for two seasons with an additional season option at Saint-Étienne.
Brice Maubleu has officially signed with AS Saint-Étienne until 2026, with an option for an additional year. The 34-year-old goalkeeper expressed his happiness about joining the historic French club and mentioned that the opportunity to join Saint-Étienne was too significant to pass up.
